Indoor kite flying using lightweight kites will be located at the Long Beach Elementary School. The school is located on Washington, between 4th and 5th Streets south (two blocks east of Pacific Avenue).

Fighter Kite Training Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 1:00 - 3:00p.m Fighter Kite Training will be conducted near the west end of the Bolstad approach. Look for a sign of a couple of fighter kite flyers waiting to make themselves feel useful. This will provide an opportunity for first time fighter kite purchasers to get their kites in the air under the helpful supervision of an experienced fighter kite flyer. Some kites and line will be available for training purposes and repairs.	WSIKF / NAFKA Short line Fighter Kite World Cup Friday & Saturday Chuck Lund, Event Director 10 9:00a.m. Fields C & D Register for the experienced Short line Fighter Kite Line Touch competition at the Fighter Kite flying field throughout the week, prior to start of competition. This is the “Big One”. About 50 of the best Fighter Kite pilots from all around the country will be put to the test. This is a 2-day Fighter Kite Frenzy. Registration: 9:00a.m. at fighter fields Competition: Begins ASAP both days Initial parings will be determined by random drawing. Competition format will be explained at a mandatory pilots' meeting, prior to competition. NO CUTTING LINE OR KEVLAR ALLOWED IN ANY FESTIVAL AREA!!!!!!!
NAFKA Fighter Kite Challenge Friday & Saturday Bruce & Donna Lambert, Event Directors 10:00a.m., Field C This is open to all newer fighter kite flyers who have little or modest flying experience and want to have a ton of fun!	Fighter Kite Flight Sunday Fighter Kites will be flying in the Fighter Kite flying area, come and see us!!!!!!!
